A new method of placing calls
Our patented solution uses a blend of Internet-based technology and traditional telephone infrastructure. Customers use our free software to launch long-distance calls via the Internet; calls then automatically switch onto standard phone lines (the PSTN) via our proprietary network.
Unlike other web-based long-distance services, we do not use Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Our customers talk on the phone, not over their computer, so there's no static or sound delay. Voice quality is the same as a conventional phone call - only the method of placing the call is different.
Users can launch calls on any standard or wireless phone via PCs or handhelds (including PalmTM and BlackBerryTM products). Customers don't have to sign a contract, pay startup charges or monthly fees, purchase new hardware or software, change their phone system or switch long-distance carriers. They simply use our service when it makes sense - for low-cost long distance and conference calling.
